Overall very nice stay for one night. Town hotel with super-friendly staff and particularly nice views over the harbor. Good-sized and nice styled rooms come with large beds.

The staff were very helpful. We came into town very late and then room was ready for us with a note to enjoy a good night's sleep and checkin the next morning when we awoke.

It was clean and reasonably priced, average decor and comfort, friendly staff.
internet access not free. Some spurious "green"claims (eco friendly lighting recycled paper etc.) obviously not correct- a minor point.

Conveniently located in a lovely quiet spot not too far from the main square and everything else important. Really liked the apartment - very impressive! Check-in staff was friendly, and they even allowed a late check-out. Great to have on-site parking available 🅿️.

The management team are outstanding in their customer care. I have never encountered anything like it and in these difficult times for Christchurch, their attitude, outlook and work ethic are genuinely inspirational.

The motel staff was very friendly and greatly helpful. When I inquired about a specific cuisine around town, she opened up a phone book and found 4 restaurants nearby and provided directions to each. The 2 bedroom suite was very nice, roomy and clean. It was just a block away from the Central Business District, which was very convenient. However, we went a couple weeks after the big earthquake, so CBD was closed off. But we'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The motel is pristine. Our unit was light and airy and had everything we needed. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Can't recommend this motel enough!!!

We booked the City Center Motel before the Feb earthquake in CHCH.It was with some apprehension that we maintained the booking with the presence of aftershocks in the area.In the interim, we asked for and were assigned a ground floor room. The rooms, are large, comfortable, well appointed.I would recommend this otel to anyone visiting CHCH. The single biggest assets are the charming ladies running this facility.
